Mr Andrew Miller

Chief Engineer

Mr. Miller has been with the company for over 5 years and performed a managerial role for the last 3 years overseeing ABT’s small team of draftsmen, engineers and technicians. Mr Miller has been heavily involved in all of the recent Projects at ABT including the successful SIBS brakes for Toyota Landcruiser and Hilux light commercial vehicles and major customer specific Projects for overseas clients. In addition Mr Miller has taken an instrumental role in the development of SIBS technology to improve the performance of the SIBS product range using ABT’s brake dynamometers. In his role as Engineering Manager Mr Miller oversaw the successful certification of ABT’s engineering department to ISO 9001. Prior to joining Advanced Braking, Mr. Miller was involved in fundamental research into crack propagation in steels at the University of Western Australia. During this time he also performed consulting services for several large resource companies providing expertise in the field of failure analysis and fracture mechanics.
